Did you know?

You can make a difference, too. Even one hanging toy will bring joy to a chinchilla in need and ease the burden of cost for the rescue.

Want to make a donation, but don't quite trust us to use it appropriately? We understand. The internet is a tricky place, and it's hard to know who to trust.

If you'd like to make a difference, but want to know exactly where your money is going, you can gladly donate money towards wood for the rescues, at www.petproductsbynature.com She puts each donation towards the rescue you specify, and when there is enough, she sends wood to the rescue. You will have to contact her and let her know your intentions, and she will help you from there.

Thank you!

Special Thanks

The chins and people at Finally Home Chinchillas would like to thank the following people for their kindness and generosity:

*Matilde Mission, for two cages that allowed us to take in two more psychologically needy chins sooner than we thought possible. Matilde Mission has also covered one of Eva's vet bills. She had pneumonia again (we secured other funding and another rescue held a surprise fundraiser for us that helped cover Eva's additional bills and surgery).

*Nick G, for his monthly support of Lexi, and for his special discounts. Nick also designed and made the special ramps for Wubbzy and Ella. Also for his willingness to customize houses for the different sized and grouped chins here.

*Tennessee Chinchilla Rescue, for donating boxes of tasty wood (pine, elm, dogwood, willow) and some willow and apple perches.

*Anonymous, for donating money out-of-pocket to cover Esther's, Naomi's and Wubbzy's initial vet visits.

*Rachel S & Lucas C, for their regular donations of toys, for their financial donations, and for their recent donations of hay, hay cubes, sticks and a digital camera that they were no longer using!

*Anita S, for her financial donation.

*Cindy C, for donating cholla.

*Anita S (a different lady than the one above), for her donation of toys.

*Terrista A, for her donation of toys.

*Karen L, for her donation of toys.

*Anonymous for covering Eva's eye surgery, and for understanding that when things got rough we were not the instigators.

*Barb, for taking the initiative to start a fundraiser without our knowledge, while we were up to our eyebrows medicating everyone here. This surprise helped us to cover the additional vet costs and after-care necessities for Eva.

*All the participants of the fundraiser: Morgan, Rachel, Terrista, Nick, Laura & her mom, Barb and Sammy. (THANK YOU!)

*Kathy, for her toy donation.

*Shyra for her special discounts and also for her toy donations.

*Julie K for her generous donation of badly needed 16 oz Edstrom water bottles.

*Laura K and Julie K for their special pricing on Edstrom water bottles for the rescues here. Their generosity allowed us to purchase more bottles than we had anticipated.

*Laura K for her donation of a 2'x2' all-metal travel cage, that we can use when transporting trios. Also for her donation of fleece liners, hammocks, corner hammocks and 2 fleece houses, and toys.

*Barbi for her extra treats for the chins here, when we place our wood orders.

*Mel T for her donation of toys.

*Barb for her donation of a couple cages that we needed so that we could slowly transition certain chins to larger cages. Barb and her dad Gene for their donation of mulberry, grape and kiwi wood. And for just being there to bounce ideas off of when things get a little crazy.

*The numerous people who've purchased our calendar and other products of Zazzle. We don't know your identity, but we are thankful for your generosity nonetheless.

**If we have overlooked a couple people, we are very, very sorry. Every donation helps tremendously. If your name should be up here, please email us at finallyhomechins@wunderchins.com to let us know.**

You are great people for advancing the cause of tikkun olam (the repairing/perfecting of the world).
